Goods Carrier was an exhibition and gathering bringing together art, food, and music in a shared space. Presented at Bar Bario in Amsterdam, the project by Farid and Zainab featured the work of Milan Hulsing, whose musician portraits are shaped by time spent in Amman, Cairo, Peshawar, and Lahore. The exhibition brought together portraits of influential artists from across North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, including figures such as Umm Kulthum, Asha Bhosle, Assa’d Khoury, and Hany Mehana. Through the evening, Milan played selections from his vinyl collection featuring musicians from the works on display, followed by sets from Katayoun, Vintage Voudou, and All India Stereo. Art and music were curated by All India Permit, with food by Mama Haqs.
