AIP x Bonne Suits
The All India Permit X Bonne Suits collaboration turns the all-purpose suit into a travelling canvas, creating a living exhibition that celebrates and preserves the rich heritage and craft of Indian truck art. The limited edition run of 21 unique suits were transported to India where four truck and sign artists - Chandu Sontake, Raj Dongre, Akhlaq Ahmad and Kafeel Ahmed Ansari - collaborated with Farid Bawa to create this special collection.

The suits were modelled by truck yard workers and drivers, and photographed by Farid and Bonne at various truck workshops in Nagpur, India, including Bawa’s family-run truck spare parts shop.
The hand-painted suits and the photo prints were shown at Galerie De Schans in Amsterdam, later presented at RIJKS® Amsterdam, and a final show at 100 Sutton in Brooklyn.
